Florida Homestead Exemption

Attention Florida residents, there is still time to file for Florida Homestead Exemption! Homestead Exemption is reserved for Florida residents. You must own, not lease, the property and it must be your permanent residence as of January 1st of the tax year to qualify.

What is considered a permanent residence?

There is no time calculation to a permanent residence, no specific number of days, weeks, or months spent in the home to qualify. The Palm Beach County Property Appraiser Exemption Services website defines the permanent residence as the address listed on your voter’s registration card, driver’s license or ID, the place where you register your cars and file your income tax.

Why use 3D and Virtual Reality to buy and sell your home

Technology is constantly changing. It has evolved our daily practices, both in our personal lives and in business. Technology continues to advance how people search, find, and even preview real estate.

See and be seen…

Traditional marketing of a home used to include using the Multiple Listings Service, a nice brochure or flyer, even a neighborhood mailing announcing the listing. Today, the channels run deeper and the reach is far more extensive with the use of social media and specialized property websites. Making your home stand out to the qualified buyer can be even more challenging with those who are also trying to gain attention.

Unlike other virtual tours…

Searching for a property can become frustrating when you see your dream home
