Lakewood Development JupiterLakewood may be breaking ground in the near future in west Jupiter. The proposed development, on its 3rd slimmed down presentation, had initial approval from Jupiter Town Council this week. Lakewood is planned to span 260 acres at the northwest corner of Indiantown Road and the Florida Turnpike. The gated community will take the stage in this currently undeveloped portion of Jupiter, also known as Parcel 19. Single family and multi-family housing will compose 275 residential units along with 150,000 square feet of biotech research and development, a 5,000 square foot restaurant and 15,000 square foot pharmacy.

Abaca Town Center

Abacoa has a new project on the horizon. The site of the former Crown Theatre will be the stage for a new 75,000 square foot indoor entertainment complex, according to the Palm Beach Post. The entertainment venue will feature theaters, bowling, bars and live music breathing new life into a building that has been vacant for years.
